25 days past Jan.
met up with bernard last fri. it was super super random. i was helping out at CLAPS again but this time not as Emcee. hhahahaz.. i helped out in logistics. basically my job was quite simple. it was to give out food and drinks to those who came for the performance.
I was quite proud of myself in one way as i changed my mentality totally. back then when i worked at NTUC, i was easily pissed with those aunties and uncles who wanted a lot of freebies and stuff.. and as i grew older and saw more of the world, i've come to realised that they are actually very harmless, and just want a bit of advantage cuz of their age, and the hardship the they've been through. so this time, basically everyone of them were people of older generation.. and everyone there was entitled to a packet of bread and a bottle of mineral water. i was first told to give them out to whoever was seated while waiting for the show to commence. i told myself to give wadeva they want, no matter how many they ask for. Firstly, the freebies were meant for them, and 2ndly, its not mine, so how would it matter if they asked for more than 1?
i did well, giving them the bread with sincerity and was proud of myself! of course, there were one or two of them who REALLY REALLY kept asking for 3 more sets cuz they have 3 children. well, thats unavoidable rite, being Singaporeans.
so anyway, met up with Bernard. so pai seh.. told him i could meet him at 8 plus but in the end met him at 9. and he haven eat! zzzzzzzzz.... ate a quick dinner and them went to coffee bean to chill.. city sq closes early. but thats just nice, cuz we left early anyway. hahahahaz.
MARY STAYED OUT ALL NIGHT!!!!! =) ASSA!
