Is it just me or did everyone else notice that a lot of songs on the radio by top female artists these days are all about bashing guys.
Example: Beyonce - If I Were A Boy, Rihanna - Take A Bow, Britney Spears - Womanizer.
And what are the top male artists singing? About how sad they are after having their hearts broken by girls.
Example: Backstreet Boys - Inconsolable, Kanye West - Heartless, Akon - I Want You Right Now (Na Na Na Na).
Man, us guys are such wimps these days.

ok. ages sinced i blogged. hahahaz.. been busy but dunno busy with wad. hahahz. the usuals since exams are juz like 3 weeks away. wad the fuck. can you believe it? why are the exams getting nearer and nearer to cny? or rather getting nearer and nearer after cny. exams on the 16th feb till the 23rd feb. that means i'll have 2 months holi. but i rather have more time on studying. hahaz.. 2 months hols wad am i going to do? FYP? work? chiong anime? the stupid economy is really having an effect on everyone. i'm starting to feel the pinch. thinking of gettng 2 more jobs. but that would be impossible. i had an urge to cancel all my chinese new year gatherings but i know that would be impossible. let that be the last. 21st birthdays all this yr, that would include presents as well. sigh. its alright. i'll find another job. but i dunno how to tell rosemary that i wanna work full time during weekdays then weekend i work cookie museum. cuz i know c.m. wouldn't give me 7 day a week schdeule. i might as well find another part time/temp job.
read the newspapaer today.. there was this stepdad who was jailed 30 yrs and caned 24 strokes for making his stepdaughterS have sex with him. Another Irish women forced her son to have sex with her, therefore she was charged with incest. CHINESE NEW YEAR IS HERE!!!! hahahaz.. i dunno if i'm excited of the fact that cny is here, or i'm excited over long weekend (finally), or because its a routine. hahahaz.. i asked clare when i was working (( clare is my china colleague)) if she finds that singapore has NO CNY mood. hahahaz.. then she say YES. singapore no cny mood at all. hahahaz.. yes. i find that so too. athough you can see all the decorations, the songs, the wadeva, i still feel that a lot is missing out. maybe its beacuse we are too westernised. clare and her other frens in singpoare all bought loadz and loadz of food ((raw ones)) to cook on their big day. she told me she went to fairprice to buy 2 huge chicken, pig intestine, pig liver, chicken intestine, beef balls blah blah blah to cook with her frens. she say she haven buy prawns, vege, tofu, soup base and a lot more. then i ask her. you cook yourselves izzit. then she say "yah lOh. " and she's only 2 years older than me. how cool is that. in 2 yrs time, i dun forsee myself doing that. hahahaz.. they are sooo traditional. wad cause the vast difference???? must be the influence and the way we are brought up. for my house, i dun have much deco actually. juz that my piano cover change to red, then the main table decorate a bit then considered getting ready for new year. no banners, no flowers, no hanging deco, no everything. hahaz.. then again, no new year mood cuz all of us DUN WAN to squeeze in with the crowd during cny period. who would wan to? you can't walk, talk and even breathe. hahaz.. maybe thats why.
was doing spring cleaning at c.m. when i come across this magazine. kinda utas kind of magazine... its moods.sg . asian hospiitality and style which cost 9 per issue. so thin cost 9 bucks. zzzzz. utas like hell. hahaz.. so i kope one back to read. features a lot of utas gadgets, relaxation place and blah blah blah. then there was this section for Bars and pubs. they featured codes used by most bartenders.
thoese coes were founded at the bars of the famous American Restaurant andbar chain, TGI Friday's. It is an efficiet and discreet way to communicate between bartenders and management witount inconveniencing the coustmer.

went out with nicole on tues night.. hahaz.. as usual, nicole lost her way. haahaz.. i was waiting at starbucks then she told me she was at topman. i was waiting for her for quite a while and i guessed she didn't know where she was. so i called her again, then she told me she at thai express... zzzzz. hahahaz.. anyway. we had pizza hut for dinner. i actually quite like pizza hut. the food is good and quite average pricing. my dear nicole wanted to eat the prosperity pizza cuz she wanted to try the crust. so we ordered the prosperity set. comes with 2 soups, 2 miranda orange, one pizza and one side order. think it was shrimp wanton. wah lao. i've not drank miranda orange in ages and it really gives me the new year mood. hahahaz.. so wierd.
had the first polymer night in dunno how many years. advance dip students are invited... it was held at concourse at T1A there. had performances, games blah blah.. quite sian lah. the only nice performanc was sp dance. hahaz.. saw charlotte. i like to see her dance. i dunno why. hahahaz... after that was hip hop. thought i saw bay but the hair like those african hip hoppers. dunno izzit him or not. after all the performances, we had dinner at wad 8? stupid loh.. drag drag drag. dinner was a sit down buffet. that means there are tables and chairs for you to sit down and enjoy your dinner. each table had lou hei as well eh. hahahaz.. so our class for the fun of it, lou yu sheng. but almost all of it was spilled. hahaz.. the teachers sang songs too! hahahz.... lau hua huat sang rong shu xia. pok sang green green grass of home. tan yew yeow sang wang shi zhi neng hui wei. think clara took a video of the teachers. hahahz..
exams coming up. this means reports have to be handed in before exams. how to do??? i hate reports. sian..... dunno how to start and dunno wad to do. but i muz submit before exam starts.

not sure if you guys know abt this new show that debuted only this yr. forbes top 20 countdown.. it airs every tues 8.30 - 9.30 on channel 5. the show countdowns the top 20 for example, richest women, richest women, luxurious weddings, blah blah blah...
i watched one epi, it was forbes top 20 richest women in entertainment. names like mariah carey, celine dion, janet jackson, christina, ellen, britney blah blah all appeared. number 2 is J.K. rowling. i still cannot imagine how she came up with the harry potter series. so fascinating.
then speaking of J.K. Rowling, stephanie meyer comes to mind. but somehow, i dun think stephanie meyer can reach rowling's current status of dunno how many million. as much as i like the series twilight, harry potter's plot is more complex, more sophisticated then the edward and bella series. edward and bella focus more on romance while harry potter is about battles and the world of wizards. and harry potter has 7 books which also means 7 movies.... that has only 4 books which also means 4 movies. hats off to rowling..
