its a rainy rainy day. so cold man.. its the cold season of the year again. how fast. i still remember celebrating my 21st birthday last yr. hahahahaz.. now i'm one week away from my 22nd one.
wanted to work back at cookie museum for the festive season but i haven submit my request for approval. rosemary also nv chase me, so i dunno if i should request. am i sick of my job? no actually. in fact i'm quite comfortable with it. hahaz.. maybe because its really a stable job, routine work and super convenient location. colleagues? very good, very friendly and helpful. i guess i'm fortunate to meet such "motherly" colleagues. i was expecting people with knives in their hands, ready to stab anybody anytime. or maybe i haven been stabbed. hahaz.. anyway, i'm not really going around, stabbing people, minding people's business.. so lets just cross my fingers and hope this doesn't happen.
i'm out of office for this whole week. if i'm really going to study, and my mum really doesn't allow me to work while studying, i guess its goodbye from me to vital.

its been a fun weekend. I have a guest from switzerland (my mum's friend) and we have been going out the weekend to basically . . have fun!!! =)
went to istana on friday. its actually my 1st time to go in as far as i can remember. i remember the last time i went in was when i was super young.. then my mum made me take pictures with the guards, and i didn't even know wad was happening. hahahahaz.. anyway, this time, we went early early in the morning. reached istana at 0830 and there was already a short queue. well, most of them were foreigners. My mum and i were the 1st singaporeans there.
Istana was not what i imagined it to be. or rather, i dun even know wad i imagined... but still. haha.z anyway, there was a long walk to the Main Building. the thing was, after we had our security checks, it started raining. heavily. so out we took our umbrellas, and had a stroll in the rain. and, not only did the rain not stop, it continued to rain, harder. we were thus unable to look at any scenery and had to get my birkenstock wet. and i hate it when its wet. zzzzz... during the rain, most of the people stopped for the rain to get smaller. I made my mum continue to walk so that we can get there with the least number of ppl. we finally got to the main building. and guess what, we have to pay $2 to get in. zzzzzzzz... like wad the hell rite.
but after i went in, i realised it was super worth it. ok, the main building is basically the place where all the delegates from all over the world would go to if they visit singapore. its superly magnificent. those chandeliers, paintings, furniture . . . everything. i felt grand when i stepped inside. hahaz.. there was the place where the delegates ate, the place where they held meetings, the place where they would discuss important issues blah blah.. although only one level was opened to public, we spent more than half an hr there, just admiring and taking everything in. they opened the "function room" to display all the gifts Singapore has received from other countries. there are like tea sets from china, glass crystals from finland, bamboo pictures from japan, some paintings from different different countries. It was really an eye opener. i thought china gave the best gifts.. most of the gifts had significant meanings. like they gave a glass sail, had the words "yi fan feng shun" carved on it.. and i remembered a gold painting, with the words "rong hua fu gui". how nice.
after we left, the rain lighten and people started streaming in. we then went to look flower look grass. they have very beautiful flowers!!!! my god, seriously. there was this garden where they placed the statue of queen victoria, and there were many flowers in bloom. and you know wad the best thing is?! the rain just stopped, and there were water drops on the flowers! awweessoommee ! hahahahz.. i spent like forever taking pictures, trying to get the best angle of all the flowers. nice. =)
anyway, its late. i dunno wad i've been surfing while typing my post, but its already 10.40 now. thats fast. alright, gotta go sleep
