its juz 2 weeks that i haven blog. like that only mah.. ppl busy ok.. hahaz.. oops.. zhuai wad lah..

ok. i stopped at 17th dec. which is last last monday. hahaz.. i kinda forgotten my activities for the past few weeks. have to look at my planner to see wad i did.. hahaz..

went to the Singapore Schoold for the Dear (SSAD in short) at 9am in the morning. met samantha and cherryl at bugis.. (yay!) at 8.15.. wanwei was late. hahaz.. the school has just shifted to this new location at mountbatten road. so we are supposed to help them unpacked everything. cuz is a school, they have everything from tables, chairs, home econs equipments, sports equipments, files, loadz and loadz and loadz of admin files (for the General Office. how long have we not heard this term ppl? ). actually the guys were the one who carried the tables and chairs and stuff. i was given the job of fixing telephone, fax machine and a PC. hahaz.. i know none of the above. so in the end i wondered to myself if i even helped them at all. hahaz.. i or rather we were given a box of telephones and was supposed to test if they are working. so we had to one by one plug in the phone line and hear the heartbeat of the telephone. most of the phones were dead. after many many dead phones, i finally picked up a phone after plugging the line in and heard the dial tone of the phone. omg. you have no idea how happie we were.. hahaz.. then the fax machine was also the same. the PC was hopeless. hahaz.. dunno is the monintor spoil of the CPU spoil. hahaz.. no matter how we connected, the PC was still dead.
after lunch, we continued arranging the tables and chairs into the classrooms. i met 3 teachers there. 2 are deaf and 1 who is normal. her name is ai ling. she is a 20 plus women.. she can hear and speak perfectly who chose her career to help the deaf children. there are altogether 4 classrooms. one class will only have 10 students. their classrooms are air-conditioned and very comfy. we helped to sweep the floor, moped the floor then wiped all the chairs and tables, then arranging them according to the teacher's instructions. all of us used very very basic hand gestures to get wad we want to say across.. kinda hard to understand wad they say. but it will all be easier after learning the sign language. i actually wipe the tables and chairs wipe until sian already then i go sneak out to find the guys to help them carry stuff.. no joke sia the stuff they carry.. totally heavy like hell.. in the end i only help them carry the light stuff and help them open door.. hahaz!!! some help huh..

then the next day was DnD. and i thought Polymer day was the day we were the bez looking. hahaz.. DnD was a-w-e-s-o-m-e. everybody dressed up "to the nines" ((quoted from yh)). nicole and sue's make up were the most dramatic. hahaz.. there were games, cheers and different different kinds of activities that kept us entertained throughout the whole dinner. and really really entertained. the emcee was really fantastic. although got ppl think he quite xia lan.. but if he's not like that, doubt there will be fun, rite? quite a lot of ppl from polymer did us proud!! hahaz.. wei ni we voted her for the best dressed contest. then nicole was sabo-ed by us for the round of game. hahaz... she was our "star" for the night.. wahahahaha.. then quite a few of us won prizes too.. kim, cs, wei ni, terrance and not forgetting JI BEE.. hahaz.. tangs voucher which expires on 31st dec. hahaz.... after that a few of us went clubbing. i left early though.. at around one plus.. met fer there but didn't join her.. the dance floor, i can never emphasis enough, is fucking packed. couldn't move, walk, talk or do anything properly. and have to pay somemore!! wad the hell....

thurs worked the whole day. from opening to closing. this is where the trouble starts.. but it has ended..

fri met up with eric and astley. went to MS de changing appetites. not bad, the food there. is my first time there.. hahaz.. suaku leh.. we ordered the mudpie there.. there are many different kinds of mudpie there.. strawberry, mint, nutty ones. the one that we wanna order all dun have. in the end only got the choc and coffee mudpie.. NO DIFFERENCE FROM THE ONE I EAT AT CC...... sian... hahaz... i wanted something different.. anyway..

sat went to jia xin's church for the little party. there were songs, skits and games. the skit they put up is quite meaningful... and i get to know more about mr kong liao.. hahaz.. went out for dinner at westmall after that. ate pasta.. then went to the arcade to play games then slowly made our way home..

the next day is christmas eve.. got DOUBLE PAY!! hahaz... worked worked from 12 to 5. weng, ann and cs dropped by to say hi.. hahaz.. cuz boss was totally late.. weng waited for almost 3 hrs.. hahaz.. poor thing poor thing...

then on christmas day itself, woke up early in the morning to go meet ashley.. he invited me to go to his church.. at expo.. city harvest.. have to queue lah.. but it was quite fast cuz i think he had frens who were inside already or soemthing.. hahaz.. i juz followed them in. the celeberation started off quite high-ly.. hahaz.. the sound system is damn good.. the live band, the singer the dancers... all of professional standard. that explains the size of it... my fav song was there!!! yay! happie.. then there was this play.. also of professional standard.. talking about this departmenatl store where everyone treats everybody as a familiy. until the boss's wife pass away.. then he chnaged to a totally mean person. very kb.... all the staff can't stand him liao then all walked out on him, leaving him on his own. until there was this orphan who came to his life. and on christams, this orphan told the boss that he has been his only kin and treats him as a father.. and stuff. then he suddenly realised that everyone has been tolerating him and its christmas time to be a better person.. very meaningful...

yesterday was steamboat with the whole gang! before that watched alvin with delph... cute!!! hahaz.... i like theodore... stupid stupid like that... hahaz... the steamboat was fun... hahaz... a lot of unexpected ppl.. keong, des, yh and cw... hanged out till 10.30. we caught the last bus leaving from the steamboat area to the MRT. hahaz... fun fun... we should have this gatherings again!!

lagging behind for bleach.. and reports.. and assigs... and tests... hahaz.... which is more important? its the hosl man.. how can ppl study? everywhere you go is like year end shopping, meeting up with frens, having dinners, catching movies.... god.. how to study sia? hahaha...

ok peeps... its a few days more to the end of this year.. hope you guys had a very meaningful year.. [[i'm saying this in case i dun blog for the next few days in which i dun think i will.. i didn't blog on christmas thus missed wishing you guys merry christmas... =( ]] i had quite a meaningful year mysefl.. i entered the coffee club world! [[this is the actual website for cc... its www.coffeeclubworld.com.. hahaz.. like fantasy rite? hahaz.. ]] met a lot of new frens and good frens.. =)... clubbed more often this year... drank a lot more too.. hahaz.. even vomitted once... zzzzz... hahaz.. muz stop liao.. had quite a few ups and downs with my health, family and myself.. luckily everything kinda ended on a good note. everybody muz take care of your own health.. its really important... you can't do anything if you dun even walk without feeling the pain... you have no idea how lucky it is to walk without pain... and your family. we always care for our frens, our partners and usually give attitudes to our parents. we always scold them, fuck them up like nobody's business.. but when you have cooled down, and think back on the things that they have done for us, you will realise that ultimately, they care for us. thats it.. such a simple thing with only good intentions harboured.. they won't even think of harming us.. why must we hurt them with wad we say? (or izzit only me?))

my fren's marriage and her birth to a baby boy.... hahaz.. so sweet.. oh.. and the boy is soooo cute!!! hahaz... he has his mum's nose! =) hahaz.. did a project from scratch... this is the only time i did or rather we did something right from scratch and fnally a report or presentation that is soo good! hahaz.. oh oh oh.. and not forgetting going to my first ever concert! SSO is juz great.. waiting for the next free concert. hahaz.... and my first marathon.. that was great also.. chances like this dun come everyday.. luckily i went.. thanx to those who helped... kelly also left for USA.. its the first time my fren has every left soo long.. went to see her off.. could feel the friendship there.. =) and a lot a lot more... that made this year so fufilling..

next yr would be better! loadz of things to look forward to next yr.
1) most important.. my trip to thailand~! my first ever trip to do something meaninful... muz make the bez of it ying!
2) another trip to maybe japan or switzerland.. --> subjective to mummy's schdeule... lets hope i can go.......
3) Kelly's coming back on the jan 20th.. HOPEFULLY i can go to the airport.... cuz it is reallly really really near my exam daes..
4) learning driving! hahaz.. have been talking abt it very very very long liao.. i would need cash. $$$$
5) getting ready to use my new wallet and bag! hahaz... wait for abt half a year liao for my wallet. still haven use.. my bag was bought on my birthday.. so also getting ready to use le..
hmmm. wad else ah? should be dun have liao lah... those are the top few things i wanna do when the year starts. yay...!

for this yr, i am looking forward to the dinner on sat! can't wait to use my new digi cam!! smile peeps!! =)

happie new year people. may this new year bring you wadeva you wish for. if you have family problems, muz say out to your frens, let them help you.. if you have relationship problems, pls remember that frens will always be there for you. for those who have friendship problems, pls if the relationship is worth keeping, pls dun be stubborn and let it ruin your valued friendshuip. i shall not be a english confucious and keep ranting about how fate has brought you all together and stuff. hahaz.. juz hope that all frens will stay frens through out each other's lives. those who are cash strapped for the year, (i know many out there .. hahaz..) go find a job after you graduate.. a job not only widens your social circle it also lets you have food on the table. trust me.. no regrets.. for those who have no problems of any kinds, be it love, family and friends (hopefully me.. ) thats the way! keep it going till next yr ya?

its the start of the hols! worked first time in 2 weeks last sat. zan, bee and khalid. forgot a lot of things. hahaz.. damn blur. was out from 10am in the morning all the way till finish work.

went out to celebrate jia xin's birthday at IMM ajisen. actual meeting time was supposed to be 12. so i called boss to pei me go earlier, 11.30 to buy cake. but, i left my house at 11 on that day. so i knew i would be late. i sms-ed boss, told him to leave his house later cuz i'll be late. that was the worse mistake i could ever make. in the end, boss was late for half an hour, which turned out to be the exact meeting time. he say its my fault that i ask him to leave late. bloody hell, i hao xin tell him leave later in case he at there wait like idiot like that then now he blame me. so poor me go and buy the cake alone. hahaz.. wanted to buy from coffee club but thought better of it. checked out cafe cartel, secret receipe, four leaves and crystal jade bread and stuff.. bought from four leaves in the end. one fruit cake for yh and a black forest for jia xin. heee.... met niclole there. wah.. wear untill sooo pretty.. hahaz.. totally different from wad she usually wear to school. hahaz.. then went to take neoprints at JEC. i like that texture of the printed out pics. very white, very nice. the machine also not bad.. i love the xia lan pic! hahaz.. only boss, cs and jia xin didn't follow the pose. weng wins the bez actor award sia. hahaz.. totally xia lan.. anyway.. how can he not? he becoming more and more xia lan everyday wad.. hahaz..

then met my mum all the way at bugis OG. no concession leh!! like that travel here and there, cost me abt 30 bucks liao.. argh.... anyway, did wad i have to do and then go meet bee.. met her at cathay. wallk walk around, then zan came. send her to work and then we both went down to cinnie. omg.. the crowd ah.. you dunno how much i wan to have a bloody gun and shoot whoever is in my way. argh! crowded like fuck....

was eating subway at RH when i saw yun har! hahaz.. she surprised me sia... with her sis and mom. wore the stupid christmas hat. so itchy, so hot and stuff.. stupid hat.. like eskimo sia.

syawal said that she's gonna put whoever able to sell the most christmas log cakes, to work on christmas eve and new year eve. k loh.. sat was my first day working since the christmas log cake thing and haven even sold one. hahaz.. dun think i will be working on christmas eve then.

i wanted to sell the christmas cake to this particular customer. so i finally persuade her to go to the cake counter and look at the log cakes. i was like going on about our cakes. "oh. we have 4 very special mix flavours for our log cakes. one is the passion fruit with nata de coco, the other is the mix berry brulee, we have the apple crumble with white choco and the last one is choc sponge cake with mint flavour. ........." on and on lah.. then you know wad was her response? "i see.. but your muddy mud pie is the one that won the award rite?" CB... I DU LAN + LAN LAN + SIAN DIAO + PEK CHEK. then in the end never sell one. hahaz.. saddddddddd..

ok.. back from the bonding session for the OCP. shall continue my blog..

went out on sunday alone to bugis and cinnie to collect my mama's cake. some stuff i really wanna share.

1) Bugis the popular has bloody bloody cheap stuff.. 'pirates of the carribean' files, foolscap, notebooks (big, small) are like going for 3 bucks? omg!!! and you wouldn't believe it unless you saw it yourself.. there were like 3 whole shelves full of these 'pirates of the carribean' stuff... why only that movie? dun have others meh.. sian.. they also have those diaries with chi 'rejected-by-love' quotes going for 3 bucks. omg... i juz bought myself a diary if not i woould have bought all kinds of designs. hahaz..

2) walking along the mac in bugis there, there's this jewellery shop. they hired a caucassian women to stand outisde their shop, giveing phamplets. omg... this lady is soooo tall.. she is easily 2 heads taller than me.. ((not cuz i'm short.. but she really is fucking tall)) and to make herself taller, she wears heels. she has this angel wings behind her and she is in all white. omg... tell me she is an angel and i will definately believe. she is soooo pretty also... everybody walk past confirm stare at her.. some even took pictures with her.. i dun have anybody to help me take therefore missed the chance. if not, i would definately love to take a pic with her..

ok.. now i'm back from coffee club. hahaz.. went to celeberate my mum's birthday.. shall continue my blog...

3) there are very very very cheap stuff going at the push carts area at bugis. for those who wanna save on christmas prezzies, can try your luck there..

ok.. then about today.. wad did i do the whole day?

woke up and immediately change clothes go SWIMMING! hahaz.. my fav past time.. wake up early, under the soft sun, go CSC the swimming pool always nobody de, and relax the time away.. the weather was good this morning. and i prayed.. really prayed it wouldn't rain.. it sure didn't. hahaz.. but the strong sun only came out when i left the pool........ argh. anyway.. had a good swim there.

and then was lunch. i asked my maid to cook those ready made pasta.. alfredo! hahaz.. then i took those packet cheese and stuff them in my pasta.. its not those shredded ones. is those sliced ones which you can put in your bread.. i kinda forgotten that my pasta was hot and ta-da! my cheese melted with the pasta...!! hahaz.. i had nice cheese to go with nice pasta.. lovely lunch.. hee.. *i love the hols*

went for the Thailand Overseas Community Project (Thailand OCP in short) bonding session today.. kinda delighted i had a good beginning. not many familiar faces though.. cuz only 7 or 9 ppl are from yr 3. the others are full of year ones and twos. hahaz.. went to this place called "Tea Chapter' tell you.. its a really awesome place. this place is soooo tradtional.. the proper steps to make tea is like.. ma fan.. seriously. hahaz.. but i enjoyed myself though.. today talked about all the preparation for the actual project. talked about the preparation camp, grouping, wad we do there, our conduct and stuff..

"you must not use foul or vulgar language on any person". after reading this sentence, i can almost hear bee's voice "like that you sure die one" hahaz....... anyway, wadeva i scold, they also dun understand cuz firstly, they can't hear and sceondly even if they can, they wont understand. hahaz.. not that i'm laughing at them or anything lah..

we have very very very intresting itenary going on. we would be visiting the school for the deaf at chiangmai. after the project is done, we would be visiting another school for the deaf and the Welfare of the Crippled. and then coming back, we would do a post-expedition phase to the disabled children in SSD (Singapore school for the deaf). and and and.. we will be learning thai language and sign language.. i hope i won't be blur blur abt that.. hahaz...

a good start is half the battle won. (izzit like that? hahaz.. not sure)

tml would be another busy day. 9am at the SSD till abt 3pm, helping them to pack their stuff cuz they are relocating or have relocated. then got work at 6pm. sian.. wanted to go for hair cut and swimming! shall go on wed then..

juz watched my parent's wedding video. actually it was in a form of a casette but she go and convert into dvd type... one hour costs 40 bucks. think total costs 100 plus.. the wedding video so long one. hahaz.. mummy also wanna convert my kindergarten graduation where i danced. hahaz... wad the hell. the funny thing was i was dancing this very traditional dance using the little drum that hangs over your neck, with it comes 2 sticks. so wad happened was suddenly, i dropped one of my sticks. then you would see the little yu ying looking so lost dunno wad to do. HAHAHAHAHAHA. but this little yu ying was also very smart, she recovered within 3 seconds and pretended nothing happened. clever huh?? hahaz...

ok. back to my parent's wedding. they hired this professional photographer who videoed the whole day down.. the whole thing is so professional.. it costs thousands of dollars. at that time, thousands of dollars costs a BOMB. they rich mah.. so i saw all my relatives, cousins (they were BABIES at that time. hahaz.. ) and most importantly, my deceased relatives. 23 years ago, they were sooo young. some were plump, now skinny. last time some sooo skinny, now so plump. oh.. and one thing i have to add... the dressing is sooo old fashioned. hahaz.. even my mum's make up.. *wayang*. hahaz..

at the end of the video, there were like quotes rolling like credits like that.. it goes like this:

it is the last sem of whole poly life... in less than 2 months we won't be seeing much of each other. everytime say will contact will contact but end up always less than half will stay in contact. As much as i wanna stay in contact with everyone, (also have to depend on those who wanna stay in contact with me) everyone would be busy working after grad. if bee and delph stays at coffee club, then i will get to see them now and then. others?

its good to clear misunderstanding. 3 yrs of friendship is not an easy thing, dun take it for granted. looking back, you may realise that wadeva happened was as stupid as how it ends up. looking forward to DnD!! everybody will be in their bez dress (other than the polymer day where everyone was in their bez and i could feel the bond that we dun normally have. that was different. we were attending a wedding reception rite? hahahahahaha), everybody will look their bez too! can't wait. we have a total of 2 tables, consisting of ppl from different classes.. talk about bonding. hahaz...

dear fyp partner. it has been very long since we started being in the same group for most projects and presentations. although we have loadz of quarrels, loadz of times getting pissed, loadz of disagreements and loadz of times getting irritated, i'm sure we had fun times altogether. sorry if i ever did made you angry. hahaz.. this is the very last project we will be doing together (with our very dear bee) lets make it fun ya? oh. and let me be the earliest. hahaz.. happie 20th birthday! may you be surrounded with happiness, laughter and peace. and also. less of 'suan-ing' ppl ok? hahaz...

updates on wad i've been up to for the past few days.

went to the Standard Chartered Marathon as a volunteer. was supposed to reach sembawang MRT at 12.15am. so bee decided to eat frog leg porridge at yishun before heading down to sembawang. then we decided to call along some other ppl. we called along bernard, weng, yh and rence. in the end. none turned up. ling li didn't come also. sian. anyway, the frog leg porridge she recommended was good. not as bad as i expected, i should say. hahaz. kidding. so went to padang at 1am. i very fun hor. padang at my house there go all the way to sembawang then come all the way back to padang. hahaz.... anyway, met filzan there. talked to him a little while then left for east coast park. after reaching, did some manual work then.. slept. hahaz.. was so damn freaking tired lah. the race started at 5.30 and the first few runners ran past the 20km mark at ard 6.30 like that. omg. their speed was like lightning. trust me. hahaz.. the way they grab the ice mountain and the looks on their face, eye opener sia. then the busiest time for us was from the runners who were in the middle. BUSY LIKE FUCK LAH. full 2 hrs pouring and pouring and pouring and pouring and pouring hundred plus. argh! out of 4 of us, 3 are experienced and one is not. hahaz.. anyway overall, great experience although after the whole thing, me and bee were so guai lan that thinking back, i think we went overboard. hahaz.. thanx boss for tolerating us. hahaz.... sorry boss. =)

monday went for eyelash extension with bao. it was free. thanx to fer for the lobang! was supposed to be there at 11. ate subway for the first time! hahaz.. i know i noob. hahaz.. anyway. the lady asked me if i wanted dramatic or natural. i took natural cuz i know if i took dramatic, i go home, my mother also will be very dramatic. hahaz.. so yah. i juz slept there for 2 hours and time to time, my eyes itched or hurt cuz of the burning sensation. cuz of the glue or something lah. the effect is good, from comments by bee, delph, nicole, fer, bao, boss, lingli and those who saw it. yup. i think its not bad too. BUT. i can't BATHE. how? my eyes bloody hurt everytime it touches water. then when it hurts, it wil hurt non stop. i dunno if i should wear goggles or not lah. hahaz.. ok. i'm being stupid.

went to butter factory last night with fer, rence and joe (clarence's fren). it was some NTU raising fund thingy. one ticket costs 15 bucks its inclusive of one free drink (housepours as usual). i tried rum coke this time. nothing special as i thought it would be almost the same taste as rum and raisin chocolate truffle!! hahaz.. then rence announced that he got gold for NAFA.. congrats dude!!! hahaz.. then he treat us jug leh!! then there was also one for one promo. sooo.. we got 2 jugs of whiskey dry! me and fer shared one and the guys shared one. my face got sooo red lah! sian... like some bloody drunkard like that. but its good lah. as ususal, fer is always the visible one and joe shown the teeniest weeniest littlelest intrest. hahaz.... before that, i drank one bottle of becks beer at RH before meeting fer. then my face was like RED. hahaz.. can't help it. thanx for accompanying me fer! =)

bought a charles and keith high heeled shoe and a G2000 long sleeve shirt. total is like...... 1/4 my salary. hahaz.

stop hoping that everything will change cuz you wan them to. stop making your problem everyone's problem. stop hoping ppl will notice cuz he won't give a damn, she doesn't care and they won't bloody notice. its the end of the year! time to care and share not to dwell on all those fucked up incidents. life's too short too think about these nonsense. juz be blessed that you have a roof, food on the table, clothes to keep you warm, sistas and frens when you need them and one special brother.
