YEAH! I HAVE INTERNET! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE ~ ! haahahahahahz..

thanx to chen fong, I have an additional function in my lap! a download of youtube videos and a converter from flv to mp3. WWWHHHEEEEE ~ i can literally download any video, and convert anything into mp3 files. HOW FREAKING COOL... ok.. maybe the whole world already knows abt this function. but to me is like. . . . heaven. hahahhahaahz..

today is national day, so I shall wish Singapore HAPPY BIRTHDAY! which year is it anyway? hahahahahz.. 45? to show my love, I shall list down a few things I like abt my homeland.

[] I like the fact that everyone (almost) knows at least 2 languages. I realised how handy (is that the correct word?) it is and how proud we should be cuz not everyone around us can communicate that well.. and being in the heart of asia, we may pick up Japanese, Korean or other languages simply and that adds to a skill we all posses. cool.

[] Singpaore is really convenient.. there's a mama shop, convenient store just around any corner. If you really compare us with other countries, its so different. you would have to hunt high and low for source of water, source of a quick bite and you they may be super ex. seriously... singapore is really convenient. the fact that its small, makes travelling and sourcing so much easier.

[] Customer service in Singapore I dare say can be ranked among the top among most countries. Although there are critics saying how Singapore's customer service sucks, this that... but they have not met other countries services, which includes racism. Its so obvious.... Especially when you are alone in a place soooo far away, with only a brother 2 yrs older than you... and you MISSED YOUR PLANE.... you have to BEG for help and those ppl dun even look at you. like wtf?! they give you the look that spells "its not my problem" . . . I bet my life, if I miss my plane in Singpaore (esp SIA), I wouldn't feel half as helpless and lost. seriously, my brother and I felt worse than an abused puppy during that few hours. oh well.. . . I have learnt to appreciate Singapore more. =)

[] SIngpaore's food!!!!!!! although it is emphasized over and over and over and over and over and over again, that singapore is a food paradise. It takes you say 2 weeks of overseas stay to know that Singapore's food is godsend. you can have anything you want anywhere. pop into even an ulu place like city sq mall? you'll find swensens, thai express, long john, ajisen, mac, BK, mahattan fish market, BBQ chicken . . . . . . . . and the list goes on. ((oh.. there's an astons coming up there. HAHA. yay! )) and not to forget our Kopitiam, which offers cheap good tze cha. how convenient is that? and not forgetting all kinds of buffet we have.. from the bao-ka-liao buffet at sakura to the super utas and super ex ones at fullerton, shangari-la . . . food is essential for everyone. we should enjoy our food to the max. and I will, after I win my loose to win 1st prize. HAHAHA.. =)

[] it just feels good to be home . . I think we should learn to appreciate local stuff more. from our very own artise, movies or any form of local production. who says singapore's shows are not nice? look at 'qi er ba ba', the one where chen hanwei act as a stay at home daddy, and unriddle which is currently airing.. super eerie can. and of course I like our local bunch of hosts. they are super funny.. of course, they are not as popular and famous as jacky wu or harlem yu but they are humorous. they crack local jokes which only a heartlander like us would understand, don't they? some may find it lame, low class or wadeva... but if time is taken to watch without judgement, some may find that its not that bad after all.

to end off, I wanna share something with everyone.

Once upon a time, there was a man who cna't seem to smile or feel happy at all. He then went to counsult this doctor who was said could cure anything. The doctor listened to his plight and suggested this to him. "Why don't you try watching this show? This comedian is really good. Everyone who comes out after his show has only praises for him. He is only in town for 2 days and tonight is his last performance."

After hearing this, the man looked up, gazed at the doctor with sad eyes and replied . .

'I'm the comedian' .

this scorpio has very split personality if anyone has realised. She likes super cute stuff e.g. hello kitty, pooh and a very good example, this blog skin. On the other hand, she hates to dress cutely. she uses vulgarities like occasionally but never uses it when parents are home ; loves dressing up when the occasion comes but hates the heels/dresses/skirts; loves making friends but hates socialising; plays the piano but prefers soft rock music in her mp3; loves the customer service envt but doesn't want it as her career; materialistic to a certain extent but hates the cliched designer brands; loves hanging out with friends but sometimes prefers and enjoys the solitude when alone; not really interested in finding a boyfriend but hoping to find a suitable and dependable husband; hates the cliched "wooing" but loves the sweetness in idol dramas; can get emotional at times but doesn't like too much attention and concern; can be superly active but is known to be the rain on people's parade; and the list could go on. if she doesn't talk to you, pls don't think she's unfriendly; she just doesn't want put on a pretence of knowing you well. All in all, hopefully you wouldn't hate her if you know her well enough. and if you hate her, hopefully its because you don't know her well enough.
