OMG OMG OMG....... I've never felt happier for a couple who's getting married. SUMIKO TAN is getting married ~~~ !!! who is she? She is one of the most influential and inspirational writers of singpaore press.

Sumiko Tan is well known among readers as a strong willed career women with a mixed heritage (dad chinese, mum jap) and has been writing for Straits Times from 1993 or 4, can't really remember. I look fowrard to her columns every sunday and they nv fail to catch my heart. Its so "womenhood" . hahahahaz.. if there even is such a word.
Her Junior College crush met up with her last July and they have been going out, as friends. I think i'm really super lucky. I manage to read all the important columns she wrote. The first time she introduced him (his name is Hurricane to her cuz he looks like one of someone she knows or something.. ) as her JC crush, i read it. The next colum was she wrote described wad happened between them and wad is happening to them now. I managed to read the one she wrote about her birthday, in which she was alone and suddenly a cake was sent to her, by him and his daugher (Hurricane was married before and he has a 5 yr old daughter from that marriage) . and they celebrated through skype.
and when i came home today, i saw the front page of LIFE, a big "LOVE AND MARRIAGE" caught me. I don't know wad me go over and read cuz i usually find it cliche. AND IT WAS HER!!!! omg!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahz..
can you imagine wad they went through? They were JC friends, she likes him and they went out once on a horrible date. Both were as good as mutes. then they nv talk to each other again. He met a girl and they got married, had a daughter. She carried on with her life, became one of the most popular columnist, writing abt her life stories every so sincere and honest with all her readers. When he got a divorce and came back (he was in wales all along) and he wanted to contact 2 of his ex girlfriends but couldn't get the contact of the other one. she became his second choice. hahahahahaahz... they met up, became more comfortable as both have matured along the way. They met up as old long friends and wasn't as awkward as before. and within one year, they are going to get married.

OMG. i can literally memorise their story.. hahahahahahz.. i'm sure all her readers will be so happy for her. she will resume her column in sept when she comes back. I want to email her!!! and congratulate her. I feel like i've known her for like 10 years already. How heartwarming is that. And the best part is? She's getting married at the age of 46. 46!!!! she waited half her life for this happiness...... she sure deserves it more than anyone else.. =)

ok. enough of her. hahahaahz.. this week in summary, bought 3 books at a SUPER SUPER discounted price.
1) Jeffery Deaver's at $12
2) Mary Higgins Clark at $12
Both of the above was at city link's MPH where all books are going at an awesome 90% off.
3) Eclipse at $1.59.
hahahahahahz.. i had a $20 voucher from kor kor. heee... was contemplating between the set and individual book, got one book at the end.

Bought a charles and Keith shoe at $13 ++, cuz of another voucher.
watched Karate Kid with mummy at plaza sing. I know IP man is way better, but i ddn't catch both (and there's a third coming out. i think if i don't watch that this time, i'm seriously thinking of killing myself), so Karate Kid will suffice for me. hahaha.z. can i say jaden is hot? omg. i sound pedophilic. i shall say he's super cute. omg....... hahahaahahz.. nice show! super nice.

weekends gonna be busy for the next few weeks. omg....... till then ~

this scorpio has very split personality if anyone has realised. She likes super cute stuff e.g. hello kitty, pooh and a very good example, this blog skin. On the other hand, she hates to dress cutely. she uses vulgarities like occasionally but never uses it when parents are home ; loves dressing up when the occasion comes but hates the heels/dresses/skirts; loves making friends but hates socialising; plays the piano but prefers soft rock music in her mp3; loves the customer service envt but doesn't want it as her career; materialistic to a certain extent but hates the cliched designer brands; loves hanging out with friends but sometimes prefers and enjoys the solitude when alone; not really interested in finding a boyfriend but hoping to find a suitable and dependable husband; hates the cliched "wooing" but loves the sweetness in idol dramas; can get emotional at times but doesn't like too much attention and concern; can be superly active but is known to be the rain on people's parade; and the list could go on. if she doesn't talk to you, pls don't think she's unfriendly; she just doesn't want put on a pretence of knowing you well. All in all, hopefully you wouldn't hate her if you know her well enough. and if you hate her, hopefully its because you don't know her well enough.
