JACK NEO DOES A TIGER - these words splashed the newspapers for the past few days. for those of you who have somehow not able to see the headlines, yes, jack neo had affairS. lets call him jn for my blog to make my life easier.

why am i so concerned abt this particular story? i'm quite a fan of jn actually. when everyone shuns his movies, saying that they have no proper meaning, lame shit, ah beng ah lian shows blah blah blah, i'll always make it a point to watch his movies. even the worst movie, xia dao xao, was really lame, but i had only praises for it. jn's movies has this connection which makes it very localised and heartwarming for singaporeans. every movie of his is directed at singaporean culture and singaporean's habits. even his gao xiao xing dong, which no one watches already, i still tune it to it every monday (last time). ((thats how i came across joshua btw. hahahahaz.. )). so now, his reputation is tarnished to the max with 2 gals coming forward to say that he somehow "crazily wooed" them, his shows will inevitably be discriminated by ppl. so, my point of this post, will this scandal affect my support for him?

ppl make mistakes, we all do. how then can we determine wad mistake is forgivable and which one is forgettable? how can we tell? his wife is very calm about it, saying that she knew abt it one yr ago, and have decided to forgive him because she loves him. is this stupidity of love, or the magnitude of love? its a known fact that males have higher sexual needs than females. males produces sperms like trillion times a day (or izzit? hahhaz.. ) while females only ovulate once a month. so, books, experts have written books like "man from mars, women from venus" and other related books to advice on the vast difference between man and women. my friend borrowed a book like that before and i stole a few glances at a few pages. it tells you in detail, why man think that way and act that way and vice versa. given this fact, izzit then forgivable if your man finds a younger girl to satisfy his needs even if you're his only true love? i always think that as long as you don't catch your man doing it in your bed, its fine. if my boyfriend is a sex manic, do i have to be his sex machine? (gawd. why would my boyfriend be a sex manic in the first place?? hahahahaz.. oh man. sounds bad. )

ok. i'm deviating from my actual point.

so.. back to my point. i like jn's works. i like his creativity, does it matter if he's unfaithful? if he's a hua hua gong zi? i don't really HATE him now, just kinda unpleasantly surprised and shocked that such a thing from him happened. not that there's a stereotype of who is bound to have an affair or wad lah. but just . . . .if i were to guess, i would guess pp like Mark lee, chen jian bing etc, jn with 4 children won't even cross my mind. how realistic. stereotypes only happen in reel life, anyone can be unfaithful in real life. would i watch his show "human"? i think i would. actually i realise both my points are linked. it depends on how i look at man. if i think most man will go astray, then he won't be blacklisted by me. but if i strongly believe that true love exist, and since you're already committed to a marriage, by your family bonds, then i'll hate him forever. marriage ties are bonded by material and eternal things. something you can tounch is only a piece of paper. eternal things are the trust and love you have for each other. how long can both last? i've seen enough from my personal experience that in some relationships, ture love is gone, and wad you have left is only responsibility and obligation. its really sad.

soooooo....... the reality tv will have a lot of interviews, reports, blah blah on this topic. definiately. i really wanna hear wad ppl in singapore has to say. the reowned director of singapore, facing infidelity with a girl almost his daughter's age.

and guys, pls don't think that i'm against all of you. i nv have that thought. its just a little discussion abt jn. you're still all my best guy friends. of course you all are cuz you're supporting my blog. =)

this scorpio has very split personality if anyone has realised. She likes super cute stuff e.g. hello kitty, pooh and a very good example, this blog skin. On the other hand, she hates to dress cutely. she uses vulgarities like occasionally but never uses it when parents are home ; loves dressing up when the occasion comes but hates the heels/dresses/skirts; loves making friends but hates socialising; plays the piano but prefers soft rock music in her mp3; loves the customer service envt but doesn't want it as her career; materialistic to a certain extent but hates the cliched designer brands; loves hanging out with friends but sometimes prefers and enjoys the solitude when alone; not really interested in finding a boyfriend but hoping to find a suitable and dependable husband; hates the cliched "wooing" but loves the sweetness in idol dramas; can get emotional at times but doesn't like too much attention and concern; can be superly active but is known to be the rain on people's parade; and the list could go on. if she doesn't talk to you, pls don't think she's unfriendly; she just doesn't want put on a pretence of knowing you well. All in all, hopefully you wouldn't hate her if you know her well enough. and if you hate her, hopefully its because you don't know her well enough.
