not sure if you guys know abt this new show that debuted only this yr. forbes top 20 countdown.. it airs every tues 8.30 - 9.30 on channel 5. the show countdowns the top 20 for example, richest women, richest women, luxurious weddings, blah blah blah...
i watched one epi, it was forbes top 20 richest women in entertainment. names like mariah carey, celine dion, janet jackson, christina, ellen, britney blah blah all appeared. number 2 is J.K. rowling. i still cannot imagine how she came up with the harry potter series. so fascinating.
then speaking of J.K. Rowling, stephanie meyer comes to mind. but somehow, i dun think stephanie meyer can reach rowling's current status of dunno how many million. as much as i like the series twilight, harry potter's plot is more complex, more sophisticated then the edward and bella series. edward and bella focus more on romance while harry potter is about battles and the world of wizards. and harry potter has 7 books which also means 7 movies.... that has only 4 books which also means 4 movies. hats off to rowling..

read in a report today that singapore is ranked 2nd in the world for "gadget-owning" country. which menas 98% of singaporeans only at least 2 gadget or more. gadgets include mp3, hp, tv, digi cam, laptop, portable games or game consonle blah blah blah. hahaz.. how true. look at us. one mp3, one hp, one portable game and one digi cam. plus laptop. first is Ireland.. USA, japan all behind us eh. wad the hell.... are we that gadget siao? yah. i have a lot of frens who are.. so that explains it. hahaz..

and also about the zhang zi yi thing? (if you dun know abt it, zhang ziyi was found with her boyfriend or husband, vivi nevo, at a supposedly private beach hanky panky-ing) their pictures are since splashed all over the net. i actually pity these celebrities... they can't even have their own time alone without people trailing and camera flashings. princess diana inccident already left a whole lot of ppl cursing at them... then again...... there's will not be smoke without fire. if those ppl wanna hanky panky, they can go somewhere more private rite? they so much money. anyhow buy one yacht or go book the whole resort or something lah. zzzz somemore she chinese national leh. chinese very traditional and conservative one loh. kiam gan. anyways. the links are here. if anyone is interested. hahaz..

this scorpio has very split personality if anyone has realised. She likes super cute stuff e.g. hello kitty, pooh and a very good example, this blog skin. On the other hand, she hates to dress cutely. she uses vulgarities like occasionally but never uses it when parents are home ; loves dressing up when the occasion comes but hates the heels/dresses/skirts; loves making friends but hates socialising; plays the piano but prefers soft rock music in her mp3; loves the customer service envt but doesn't want it as her career; materialistic to a certain extent but hates the cliched designer brands; loves hanging out with friends but sometimes prefers and enjoys the solitude when alone; not really interested in finding a boyfriend but hoping to find a suitable and dependable husband; hates the cliched "wooing" but loves the sweetness in idol dramas; can get emotional at times but doesn't like too much attention and concern; can be superly active but is known to be the rain on people's parade; and the list could go on. if she doesn't talk to you, pls don't think she's unfriendly; she just doesn't want put on a pretence of knowing you well. All in all, hopefully you wouldn't hate her if you know her well enough. and if you hate her, hopefully its because you don't know her well enough.
